writes: What is the likelyhood of the pill stopping your period? I'm on Cerazette, which is a 28 day pill and I'm just at the end of my 3rd month (i've been on 2 different pills before this though). Ever since I first started taking the pill back in April, I have not once been late, even after I changed pills in June, and I had my period on time after my first month of taking this one, but am now 4 weeks late, so i should already be getting my next period. When my doctor put me onto this one all she told me was that the only difference between this one and my previous one is that i don't have a break of taking it. I took 2 pregnancy tests after being 2 weeks late, both negative, then went back to see my doctor last week, so after being 3 weeks late but she told me that its probably the pill as this one can cause periods to stop (which she didnt tell me when she put me on it) and didn't even think it neccessary to take a test. I then took another test yesterday but it didn't come up with anything, not negative, not positive.I'm just not sure whether it really is the pill stopping my period from coming or if I could be pregnant. I've tried going to the doctors, but she isn't going to do anything about it.Has anyone else had this happen? Any advice is much appreciated.

I think it is possible for the 28 day pill to stop your periods and if you have taken a few pregnancy tests then I think you can be pretty sure you are not pregnant.
But to put your mind at ease I think it will be best to see a different doctor at your GP surgery (getting a second opinion from another doctor is always a good idea when you are not sure of your first doctor's conclusions) and change your pill to a 21 day pill.
Maybe even go along to a family planning clinic or GUM clinic (google them and you should find one in your area) - they are specialists in contraception and all matters regarding sexual health so they might be able to help you!
I hope this helps and good luck!
