My bf has been diagnosed with mrsa in a lesion in his nose. It is a type of staph infection that is resistant to most antibiotics. This is my second time dealing with it in a 5 month span. Thankgod we caught it quickly the first time as if it had gotten into my sons bloodstream he could have died. He was only 8mos. Many different drs have told me many different things. Some act like its not a big deal others act like its the end of the world. Hes on medication and im taking myself and kids to the dr to get tested/treated. Last time we ripped out our carpets, bleached the house wall to wall and bathed in hibiclense. If anyone has gone through this please help or if anyone can give me legitimate websites i would greatly appreciate it. Reply to this Question Share |

The worst part about it is it can be very painful. Using hibiclense on a regular basis will help to keep it away (will kill it if it is on the body)
Be cautious but you should be fine. In the many times I have had it I have never "given" it to anyone else that I would know of like family members. Hope this helped.
