how long have you known the student?
Has the student ever expressed interest in you?
Do you have regular opportunities to discuss things with the student ?
It may irritate, vex and annoy you that your father is making an effort to find a wife for this student. Surely your father would have put your name to the student if he had analysed the situation and found you to be the perfect match?
or could it be that your father has someone from somewhere in mind for you?
How would you feel if the student developed a crush on you? Would you discuss such a development with your father?
Are you able to discuss your crush with your mother?
Has your father ever discussed an arranged marriage with you?
why does the student need your father to find him a bride? Are his own parents unable to do this for him?
I checked out the custom and I gather that arranged marriages are still very accepted in the Indian culture.
