I was very attracted to boys when I was younger, I even had a "boyfriend" in pre-school. I have kissed a girl, and yes I did like it. Now that I am older I find myself physically attracted to women who have masculine qualities. I am so confused about my sexuality. But here's the thing, the thought of doing anything more than kissing and groping another girl does not turn me on. I don't look at lesbian porn, I enjoy sex with MEN, but I like kissing girls and feel a stronger emotional connection with them. I am SO confused! I have never tried having sex with a girl and don't really have the urge to, but FTM trans men and masculine lesbians is what I am MOST attracted to. I don't want a relationship with a man.I am very feminine and girly. I have long hair and wear dresses often. Can anyone shed some light on this on what I am going through? Is this just a phase or what and how can I find a happy medium?

reader, anonymous, writes (22 July 2013): Sounds like you're attracted to a blend of the genders. You like a trans man's masculinity, but you experience a strong connection with women. Sounds like you've figured out how to have the best of both worlds! I'm intersex and identify as masculine. In the past my partners have labeled themselves as bisexual, pansexual, even heterosexual! In reality these labels don't matter because they don't define your relationship. Just embrace your desires.
