reader, anonymous, writes (14 November 2015): First, "hate" has nothing to do with poor performance. He is disappointed. Your work reflects on you. If you know the reason; you could have avoided the problem. You are putting far too much of your personal feelings in the wrong place.
That would be annoying, if he is more concerned with your professionalism and job performance.
Pull back your feelings and put your professional face on. Stop with the sweets and socializing; and focus on getting the job done. That's how you'll turn him around.
