You can say you lost your phone and thats it. If he calls someone you can just say your phone was lost. On the other hand, if he has pictures of the two of you that is a whole new deal itself.
If he is a sex worker (which sounds like because he stole your phone and keeps asking for money), blackmail him by saying you will call the cops.
On the other hand, someone knowing you are gay will not ruin you as long as you are sincere about it. That is your sexual orientation and if this has been your first time, there is no betrayal yet. Just don't say you had sex with him, maybe just oral.
Good luck!

The question is can he prove your gay can he prove anything happend? Hmmm most likely no. You live in the modern world loads of people are gay why continue being in the closet come on join the real world be who you are be true to yourself, and to be honest its more then likely people already know. So come on dont let this guy ruin your life come out and be proud to be who you are!
