While my brother has been away, I've been spending a lot of time with his friend. I see him on a daily basis. We never did anything. But I'm attracted to him. The problem is his age and mine. He's 16 and I'm 23. I know better than to try anything. But I feel like a pedophile. After trying to figure out why I'm so attracted to him. I came to the conclusion that maybe I'm only attracted to him because he has the qualities that I want in a man. And after failed relationships, I feel like I'm trying to make him a rebound. I know it sounds crazy. But that's the only logical explanation I can come up with. Please help. I need to stop thinking about him. Reply to this Question Share |

I should say we are not yet liberated sexually because we are still in the belief that sex is somehow bad inherently. We talk about kids losing innocence when they start being sexual. Anyways the fact is, if people would be ready to accept, a 16 year old normal boy is a very sexual one. Sexual attraction to a 16 year old boy can never be considered as pedophilia. It is insane. Ask any honest man. He would laugh at your idea that a 16 year old boy is a kid. It is the laws and it can change in the future. I am not saying you should violate laws which you cant agree with. I am just saying that you should think logically and stop blaming yourself and feeling bad about yourself. A 16 wont be very mature, thats right. If you wanna be with him, wait until he reaches legal age in your place. If you wanna forget him, usually staying away is the only thing that works somewhat.

Why? Its legal? Oh hang on, is it legal there? It is here in the Uk. He's young though, so not going to be looking at settling down. If you really want to forget about him, you'll have to not hang out with him? Otherwise, is it a 2 way attraction?
