hi m8,....im going throught the same situation as you!! ur not alone ! something that helps for me is n th morning i write th number 7 on my writing hand, so if you need to cut back eating at break or lunch you will see the number and think...ok its break/lunch next im not going to eat any fatty foods. this will help you remember your comitment and keep at it!

also if some1 is bullying you a good comeback which will turn the tables on the bully is...i may be fat but i can lose weight, your ugly what can you do?

I know exactly how you feel

when I was in highschool I was 30 lbx overweight and after a few months of college I seemed to magically lose 45 or so lbs!!! It was so weird, but after thinking about it consider this: Dont try to run 5 miles a day or eat nothing- you will bomb fast.. What I reccomend is to check out what you do everyday- after school do you come straight home and sit on the comptuer? How about this- come home from school- grab a SMALL snack- spend like a few minutes checking email adn jsut when you want to go reach for another snack and start a computer game- go for a walk instead. Make it at least 40 mintues.. Dont worry about the pace or time- just go on a walk with an open mind- look at the buildings that you walk by- watch people in the neighboor hood- observe animals and interactions with things- make this walk ENJOYABLE and fun- no need to run or push yourself. Eventually youll find that walking eveyrday- longer perdios of time and faster you will become so enamored with your walking routine- you will feel you did nothing important that day until you took your walk. I now walk sometimes 5 hours a day- at night when im frustrated or when I simply need inspiration to get things done- or instead of drivingin somewhere I make it a destination- and just walk there.. Ive also found walking with friends Is great- becuase you are so distracted with talking- that the excersize component is not even in your mind- and it is more social and "fun" that way- also If your finding that weight isnt comming off- I found out that I had a dairy allergy and so now that I no longer eat dairly Ive lost a ton of weight- becuase my body was fighting it everytime I digested dairly... so You might want to check if you have any food allergies or food that makes you upset- also check if you are eating because of low self esteem or emotions- i guarenttee you that you can break the emotional eating cycle by getting out and walking- it will make you feel better about yourself and heath- it will give you more self esteem and it will also cut down on hunger( and eating time) when you are walking.. I also reccomend veggies fruit and WHOLE grains- no enriched or white flour sugar things- focus on stuff with lots of fiber and you will feel fuller.. Hope this helps?!?! GOOD LCUK I know you can do it!

birdynumnums agony auntHi,

I'm so sorry that you are being bullied. Try to ignore the idiots, if they are saying things to you, you know that they are also saying things to anyone else that they can pick on. The reason they do it is because they are insecure and think if they feel bad, making fun of someone else will make them look better in everyone else's eyes. Of course everyone else is pretty nervous and anxious to look good in high school, so they go along with them and say nothing incase they get bullied too. Everyone else watching is still thinking that the bully is the jerk, they are just not brave enough to stand up to them. You can always pick on whatever their flaw is, but that's just lowering yourself to their level, and you sound like an intelligent, sensitive young man. Having a weight problem is a big issue for many people these days. Most kids have been raised indoors and play computer games. When I was young, we got kicked out of the house all day during the summer and were constantly climbing trees, swimming and running, so we were burning all the food that we ate for energy. The solution is simple, but it takes hard work and dicipline. Energy in = energy out. You have to move more and eat less. Ask the grownups in your life to help, tell them how you feel about your weight. You should tell them about being bullied too. They should be able to explain how big a meal should be and what snack food you should eat. Soda pop is a huge amount of calories (drink lots of water instead)- so are crisps or chips. Get your parents to sign you up for a few activities that get you moving. If you don't like group sports - try climbing or running. It's important to break a sweat 3 or 4 times a week. They might ask your family doctor for advice too. It will take time and determination and you may not see the change quickly - but only YOU can make the change of lifestyle and habits that will help you get the results you desire. Good luck!

hey, first of all i just want to say that kids will find anything they can to pick on, eg hair colour (blonde, not blonde), skin (too dark, not dark enough), race, weight (too big, too small) etc. unfortunately thats what kids do so try not to take it to heart and let them control ur weight. if ur happy with the way u are then take no notice but if u want to change do it for urself. as you are only young i would suggest eating healthier rather than dieting and to find a sport that ull like to do. if uv been 'good' all week then give urself a treat on a friday night and have something u rly enjoy. good luck and chin up x

aw bullying is one of the worst thing that can happen to a teenager. your going through a hard time but before you sort your weight issues out, you need to build your confidence up and learn to like yourself no matter what you look like. maybe you should get a hobby like kick boxing, not only would it help regain your self confidence but it will also help lose weight as you will be having plenty of excercise. dont try any diets as they are hard to keep up with but if you talk to your mum and ask he to cook well balanced meals with lots of vegetables and have your meals at the same time every day, with light snacks in between, you should soon start to feel fitter and loose the weight.
