A male reader, passionatelynumb United States +, writes (23 February 2010):

passionatelynumb agony auntThat depends. Why did you accuse her of cheating on you?

Do you have real evidence of such behavior or was it an abusive power trip sort of thing said in the heat of a fight.

Or was it one of those things where you simply asked her where she'd been and she took it as you accusing her of cheating.

The more you know about why you were motivated you to make the accusation, the easier it will be to work things out.

Unless of course she's really cheating on you, in which case maybe you should move on.
