He and my dad went on a bar crawl and ended up coming home so drunk he could barely stand up, never mind walk. My dad? He was so drunk he could hardly speak properly.I was furious with him for missing our daughter's birthday party.I'm glad the two of them get on well but this is ridiculous. He doesn't normally do this sort of thing and this behavior had me a bit concerned. Our daughter was sad dad couldn't be there.Shouldnt he do something to make it up to her? This was a one-off incident AFAIK but I'm still feeling angry about it.I haven't talked to my husband about it yet because I'm not in any state to, I'd get angry too easily. But I'll be calm soon enough.I don't know what to think or do or the right thing to do.

You say this was a one off incident, maybe it would be different if it was happening all the time.
Sounds like he needs a stern talking too, maybe wait till you have calmed down a bit and not so angry.
And yes he has got some making up to do.

Well, your dad and your husband better make it up to you and most particularly to your daughter ASAP!
