writes: hey everyone. now i know this site is for relationship advice but i need some advice about heath.i was hit on my lateral maleolus (ankle bone) from the front with a hockey ball 2 weeks ago. when i did it my ankle blew up dramatically more then other times ive done it and the swelling went into my foot naturally and i had a black foot for the next week. sine i did it i have played 2 games and trainned twice. i went to the doctor about a lump in my groin 1 week ago and he said it was my lymph node trying to fight infection in my foot that was hit. so the problem is that now 2 weeks on all visible bruising is gone, the top of my foot at base of my toes feels bruised. and on the medial side of my ankle where the impact happened there is a very hard lumpy line that is painful to touch and stretch out. it isnt on the bone at all and there are no ligaments that run along that area. so my question is, does any one have any idea what it could b, will it go away, should i get it xrayed even tho i can run without pain? thanks for answering this even tho its not relationship problems.
