writes:I met my husband when we were teenagers. My brother kept coming home from school upset because of a lad who was always picking on him. I just flipped one day and being a bit of a Tomboy I donned my platform boots on, given to me by my sister in law and went out looking for this lad. When I caught up with him I began to give him a piece of my mind but as I was shouting at him, his piercing blue eyes stopped me in my tracks. I knew I was saying something but my tone of voice changed and i just zoned out. I can honestly say that was the moment I fell in love at first site. It took him another year to fall for me but 46 years later here we are.We have had a rocky ride in the early years but have grown together from this. Some couples today will split up over minor things. You really need to work at a relationship and be able to sing from the same hymn sheet and be fair with each other.
