You have to have this additude like you are the one people want to talk to,be around, and be friends with. Learn what other people like, smile, make small talk with thoses around you, see what you have in common with different people, and you will make friends.
Ask people for their numbers when your talking to them and say something like, "we really need to chill out side of school" or something like that, keep in touch with everyone. Hang in there, there is someone for everyone.

when you go to college act more confident and talk to the people you meet on the first day - no one, or at least not many people will now you so you can be who you want to be.
i know its hard making new friends after moving to another country, i went through the same thing couple of years ago but i have great friends now!
good luck x

It will change at college... But if you wanna make some now just ask someone to go do somthing like a movie or to hang out at your place or go to the shops. it's that simple.
if your question has more in depth please explain the details.
