Dont argue with your mum, shows disrespect he may not find that too pleasing

A good starting point is to be yourself. Regardless of whether you have a romantic or purely platonic interest, there's nothing worse than meeting somebody and trying to be somebody you're not!
Of course, be polite, make an effort with your appearance and obviously go along with a view to having fun! Keep an open mind, don't expect to click with the guy - just take it as it comes. If you turn up with a head full of expectations you'll be putting way too much pressure on yourself and the point of the meeting - to have fun and make a new friend - will be lost!
Above all? Relax.

If he likes you, great, if not, he's more than likely a loser. Best of luck!!
