Window shop! Or just line up all your cocktail dresses or nice tops and trousers and your shoes that you know look really good, and just see what you fancy on the day. As for your hair, if you get stuck just straighten it or curl it, something simple =]

k_c100 agony auntWell if it is just the reception you are going to (not the ceremony - if you are going to this part too then this is a whole different kettle of fish!) then think of it as what you would wear on a night out with friends. But keep it classy seen as it is your boyfriends parents - skirt not too short and top not cut too low! And remember the golden rule, if you are going to show some leg, keep the top half covered. If you are going to show some cleavage, keep the bottom half covered (knee legnth skirt or trousers).

If I were you I would pick out a nice dress, something you would wear to a party. You have a slim figure so you can get away with a skirt above the knee but make sure you can bend over in it without flashing your bottom - this is the best way to check if the skirt is too short!

With your hair, having it down and straight will look nice or if you have some straightners/curling irons, try putting a few curls into your hair. Up-do's look good but generally they require some skill or a hair-dresser to do it for you! Hence why I normally go with long and straight for my hair as I cant do much with my own hair!

If you have some money to spend on an outfit then pop out for a bit of shopping! If money is limited then have a look around your wardrobe, pick out a nice dress and maybe buy some new jewellery to make it look new!

I hope it goes well for you!
