Normally I am extremely shy around girls, but with me leaving in 3 days, I asked her to lunch. She said she had to get to work so I let it go. Now, 5 months later, I was looking at one of my best friends MySpace pages, and this girl is on his friends list. Turns out we went to the same high school, but I never met her. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to contact this girl (via MySpace or my friend) without seeming stalker-ish, or just plain weird?

I'm in the same position- ive found the guy's myspace i fancy, and i think that rockelle is right- theres nothing weird about an add request. in a way, its better than face to face because she can check you out and decide, and see that youve got something in common. worst case scenario, she can always ignore the message but i dont think she will. good luck!

Just send her a friend request, or a message just saying hi. So many people have sent me request that saw me on someone elses page, that is not being a stalker. Now messaging about ten times a day that is stalker-ish. Just send her a message if you can and tell her that you think she's gorgeous and would like to be friends. You never know she will probably accept your request and you can keep in touch with her. It is worth a try. Good Luck.
