However, now I'm growing more attracted to him daily. He thinks/knows i like him, and there are rumors circulating. Anyways, my question is: How can i confuse him to make him think that I either don't like him, or give him mixed signals to make him that much more doubtful about whether I do or not? I don't want comments about how dishonest and manipulative this is. He's straight (or at least not out of the closet) so I want him to forget I ever liked him, and doubt whether I like him now. Simply saying "I don't like you." didn't work out before, so i need to plant the doubt and distraction into his head without him noticing that was my plan all along. I'm not trying to get in his pants, I just want us to be chill friends, even if that means I have to put aside my little crush. But we can't be friends until he doubts that little crush was ever even there.

Hope my painful memories can be of some use to someone instead :)
