Actually for HIV you're supposed to be tested 3, then 6, then one year. As for other common STDs, I believe gonorrhea, chlamydia, and others like it show up very quickly. Herpes and HPV are hard to test for until symptoms show up. You need to make an appointment with your doctor sooner rather than later. Remember this nervous feeling the next time you want to have unprotected sex and then don't.

It's worth going to the doctor and talking about it now. Don't sit there waiting. It's best to get to the doctor now and get tested for whatever you can.
