He is very nervous about how to propose and eventually comes up with the phrase "You win." "As if we've been playing pocker all this time?!" Now seriously, you don't need to think it over so many times. It has to come natural, I don't agree with... what's been said here, stading on your knees!... You're not addressing the pope and you're not a knight in a primordial story either. You're simply and supposedly with familiarity asking her to become your wife. You don't need trumpets nor to scream! to the whole world that you love her and so on. These are adolescent manifestations. They're not wrong! My point is only that you don't need to impress the girl, she must already be impressed to have accepted to be engaged to you, moreover a simple unadorned phrase can be more romantic than all the sophisticated arrangements.

 Hi Im becky!I would have to say that you should try to propose the way you think comes naturally.The most common proposals are usually over a candle lit dinner, with the ring either given on one knee, or placed in the girls champane glass.A good idea to get you started is to take your girl out to one of your favourate places where you both love to spend time with each other, buy her her favourate bunch of flowers, or 12 red roses are romantic to set the mood, tell her how much you love her and when the time is right, get down on your knee and beg her to be yours forever, im sure she would love that.Hope I helped, and gave you some good ideas!Good Luck!BeckyBadger x

 try bring romantic does your girl like to be in a public place or quiet if so take her out to dinner sit her down and act casual and romantic before she comes put it on the end of a bread stick or somethink and offer her 1 if she says yes give it to her so she sees the ring take it off show her it again and ask her in a loving way infront of everyone if ud marry her...she should think much of you if u do it in public because shel think u have the coridge to stand up infront of everyone and shout to the world you love her!!hope i helped :-) sarah xxx

If I were you I would try to do what is natural to you both, as in your favorute way to spend time together. The most common is to take the girl out for a dinner date, then between the main course and the afters, propose, or wait until the end and then propose on one knee.Down on one knee always makes a girl feel special, however try to keep it inconspicuos! Try not to look nervous and keep your cool! Flowers are always a good mood warmer too, red roses to prove your love even more for when you pop your question, Make it romantic.Go get them tiger! hope I helped!BeckyBadger
