We haven't seen each other since the break up, cause we work at different places and live an hour from each othre so there has been no face to face contact only text or an occasionaly phone call from him. I just wonder how to act when I see him there is a retirement party for a mutual friend coming up and I have been greatly concerend about how to act when I see my ex. I still have alot of pain from our break up and sometimes worry about what I might do when I see him like cry or walk out of the party. How do I handle this?

I understand what you are undertaking, having gone through this myself. I do not know the circumstances under which you two broke up, but I know this, time heals. You have noted that you two have been broken up a little while, just fancy him like he is, somebody that you used to know. If he speaks to you, speak back to him cordially and keep it moving! Wear your Best Dress, don't worry about what he may be thinking or what he may be missing, until you are part of a WE again, with somebody more suitable to what you are trying to accomplish in your life, it is all about YOU, and what you want. Go to that party, and act like you are Living Your Life, because you are, arent't you? Have fun!!!!!
