Its a pretty impossible question to answer, there are many factors to consider to get even close to obtaining an answer, such as age, health, feelings towards one another, chemistry etc.
A young couple been married five minutes might be at it like bunny rabbits 24/7. An older couple who maybe married later in life realise that life is not all about having sex all the time and maybe do it once in a while.
Another couple might not even do it at all and sleep in separate bedrooms but love one another all the same.

It's safe to say at least once a week for some, some only once a month, and for others it's more than once every other day! It depends on age, overall health, how people really feel about each other; and how strongly they connect emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
If a survey or poll was taken; men in particularly, would be prone to exaggerate! You'd never get a reliable estimate.

For my husband and I, it’s every day. If I’m not in the mood for sex, I give him oral really quick. But I always try to give him something every day - it has made our marriage so much stronger. He needs it daily. He has a big sex drive because if I don’t give him something, he’ll masturbate. I don’t think it’s wrong for him to masturbate but I’d rather he gets it from his wife than masturbate watching videos of other women. Be proactive in keeping him satisfied every day. It will make your marriage great.

Who want's to be average?
How does the average apply to you?
Do you want an age grouped average?
So here are some interesting facts about sex in marriage.
A couple that has sex 10 or less times per year is considered "sexless".
Sexual drive varies a lot in humans and most marriages include two partners who have different desires for sex.
Age appears to have nothing to do with it as some 20's couples are sexless and some senior couples are daily or more.
Advice: Find a frequency that works for you as a couple, by which I mean a frequency where both partners feel loved and emotionally connected. That is what sex is for.

Sometimes we'll do it every day for several days in a row, then maybe go for a week or so without.
Overall, I'd say 2-3 times per week is pretty average for us. But like I said, sometimes more, sometimes less.
