Longer sessions can go on for hours, and we can try many different positions.
There is no routine for sex, imo.

Oftentimes when the sex is good and you both have time and it will go on for a while then you switch it up. Like I think last time I had sex with my boyfriend we changed 3 positions. You really just do what you feel when you have sex. If there is a position you want to try then nothing wrong with suggesting it in the middle of sex, to switch it up. Each position makes a different angle therefore the sex feels different in each position.

 Everybody's different. It depends on the couple and the mood. Some people will change around frequently, others will be happy with just a few, others will stick to just one. Myself, I'm usually happy enough with 3 or 4 positions generally. Sometimes less. As far as I'm concerned, as long as both partners are satisfied at the end it doesn't really matter!
