 I think 6 men is about average. These days, girls are losing their virginity really early which leads to an accumulation of sexual partners at a relatively young age.
Personally, I think its a bit on the high side, but it may be because I didnt lose my virginity until I was 19. However, I dont judge her. As long as she is clean, free of STD's, and doesnt dress like shes always looking for a guy's attention in the wrong place at the wrong time. (such as in school or at the store). There isnt anything wrong with her. Feel free to love her regardless of her 'numbers' and dont try to venture into a conversation involving the number to guys she slept with. This can cause friction in a relationship.

 I'd say yes, and it's a lot above average. A small number of people sleep with a lot, but it's not nearly as many people as we might think. We tend to notice the people that have had a lot of sexual partners and assume everyone else (the large majority) is doing the same, which they're not.

In my day, 17 year old girls had a virginity rate of well oner 60%. Anyway, is six a lot? - I don't think so by current standards - but not all at once because that would be tacky.

 These days..I would say no. When I was in high school..I knew a lot of girls that had..15..20 partners. Now..that's high. And yes people will judge you and talk..but they always do. You can't let people know your business. The teenage girls I knew in school were really secretive about how many sexual partners they had. But.. you would be surprised how many sexual partners some people have. Haven't you watched Maury? Lol. When you're 17..noone can tell you who you can and can't have sex with. (Depending on the state you live in.) But..don't dwell on the past. The past is the past. And you can't go back to the past. So..from now on..just think before you act. That was my biggest problem.

 Please don't think I am judging, but I do think 6 is a little on the high side.
I for one don't care, but because of societal pressures put on young girls, I understand that other people might jump to harsher conclusions and view it as far too many sexual partners. And people can be really mean at times about these things.
As long as you are being safe and using protection, I don't care what you do. But just be aware of how others might perceive you. Their opinion shouldn't matter, but it doesn't always stop them from hurling negative comments and insults.
