I came across a guy I met a few years ago on Facebook last night ( we met breifly at a band audition but no time to talk or meet properly) on the 'People you might know' bit. It turns out we have a mutual freind. I added him as my freind and we exchaged a few messages. He said to keep in touch, so I messaged him my number. He said thanks for the number and that he will call soon. I really like him and wondered how long to wait for him to call me before giving up on the idea. How long do you think if he is interested? Thanks.

It's hard to say because you don't know if he is actively pursuing someone else. Just because his status on Facebook is single doesn't always mean he is single.
I think the number one sign is that when you gave him your number, he didn't return the favor by giving you his. That means he's either not interested or he is 'taken'.
I would wait a month at most... if no messages or call from him then I would let it go.
