writes:Boyfriend have been arguing on and off for a month. The last one was pretty bad. He asked me to leave his home...that was a couple of days ago. I am not sure if he dumped me or not. He didn't say it was over. I called once and text a couple of times. We have yet to talk things out. How long should I wait before I can assume it's over? I do not want to keep contacting him so how long should I wait for him to contact me before I move on?

reader, anonymous, writes (20 March 2011): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThank you for your response. He finally dumped me after about two days. Now he is contacting me again. He says he is thinking of me. If I ever do decide to get back with him it will be a while from now. You can't just kick people out and dump them then expect to come back like it is nothing.
