My period is late for 4 days.I am normally on time, and normally I get symptons that will let me know I will have my period soon, like a lot of small spots, get grumpy and abdominal pain.I have had none. In case this persists, when should I take a pregnancy test?I am sexually active, but me and my bf have ALWAYS son it with a condom. Nevr without it, ever.So I am postive thinking that the condom never broke, or nothing of that freakish kind. but I just want to make sure, so when should I take it? like, how late should I be to take it?I appreciate all the answers posted.Yours Truely, me.

FirstResponse pregnancy tests are accurate within the first week, if not within the first few days. Other pregnancy tests are accurate at the 5 day mark plus. From personal research (due to a personal experience) I will tell you that it is proven that stress can delay your period! Just relax and take a breather. Calm down about whatever it is you're stressing about and it'll come.Let me tell you the story of my girlfriend and me. She started off about 3 days late on her period, too. On day 5 she got a pregnancy test to check if she was. It came out negative. 3 days later she took another test and it was also negative. Her period finally came almost in time for her next cycle. Now, the extra details: she was in the final stages of landing a very important job. That's very stressful to anyone, landing a job that determines your future. Add on top of that the stress of the fact that she thought she was pregnant. Once the stress of landing the job passed (she got it), her cycle returned to normal.Hope that quick story helps :)
