Great sex begins in a sexy but relaxed manner...maybe kissing, cuddling, gently stroking and caressing your partners hair and body. It progresses from there to more intimate foreplay. Once both parties are ready, it usually finishes with intercourse and probably cuddling afterward.
Great sex happens when you know what your partner enjoys, and your partner knows what you enjoy as well. When you have great sex, both people are satisfied.

I suspect that my brother and Sister-in-law have been having great s*x for almost 50 years now.....

Depends… can be hours, can be minutes… sometimes hours and hours of sex is NOT great because the partner is not a good fit…

What great sex "should" do is give you both pleasure, no matter how long or short it is.

It all depends on the woman. Some can go for hours, some for minutes. Some will orgasm, but most wont. As a man, it's tough to gauge. You have to be able to read your partner. Obviously, you don't want to be premature, and if you last too long, sex becomes dry, painful, and awkward.
