I met this guy a couple of month ago, we started dating soon afterwards, about 3 weeks ago, we talked about what situation we were in, I was a bit upset when he said we weren't in the stage of relationship, because we act like we are gf and bf already, then he said yeah we are gf and bf now. but few days ago, he said we've jumped into relationship too fast....he then told me his story that he got hurt by his ex 6 years ago, and he hasn't had a relationship since...he thinks we should back to be just dating and see...I do like him, and really want to be with him, but I don't want to wait and see...I've got hurt before as well, and I don't want to wait to get more emotionally involved and get hurt again....what should I do? :(

Listen, you need to get rid of this guy. He will NEVER change. If he doesn't like you enough at this point, he never will. He is NOT the catch...YOU are. He should be kissing the ground you walk on and wanting EVERYONE to know you are his girl. We've all been hurt! I would like to meet someone who hasn't! That's just an excuse to keep you in that spot of being there when he wants you. By doing this, he has no responsibility for your feelings because your not his girlfriend. He can do whatever the hell he wants and he doesn't owe you any kind of explanation. Just my opinion...but when you are meant to be with someone, BOTH parties know it and want it. He sounds very wishy-washy and i would back away (DONT answer his calls for at least a week) and see how he reacts to not having you around. He can't miss you if you never leave. Best of luck to you!

Hello

I can understand the tone of your email.

Relationships are a partnership of compromise, compensating and complimenting each other.

Be honest. What do you want?

In the beginning, dating is the process of discovery....

Let the relationship flow at its own pace. Continue to communicate, but work on being yourself, by engaging in fulfilling your journey.

Take care

Take it easy

Let me know how you get on

However, respect his wishes and if need be move on.
