Im on the pill and i've had unprotected sex alot of times with my boyfriend before i started the pill, the pill makes my period late 1-2 weeks every month, and some people don't get symptoms when they're pregnant, if you don't get your period and your still worried, take a test, if it turns out you are, you'll figure it out from there just make sure you have someone to talk to and do everything with you, good luck x

Tisha-1 agony auntWait, I missed that you are on the pill. Chances are infintessimal that you are pregnant. Go talk to the chemist but I think you may be overly cautious here.

And no, if you get pregnant, you will not shed the lining of the uterus, which is what the menstrual flow is.

Tisha-1 agony auntGo to the chemists and ask about the morning after pill, emergency contraception, if you are so concerned about this. Knowledge is power and can help prevent you making poor choices. Best wishes.

A female reader, EbonyBlossom United Kingdom +, writes (27 June 2010):

EbonyBlossom agony auntIf you've been taking your pill responsibly and as prescribed, the chance of you falling pregnant is only 0.01% and most people on the pill don't bother using a condom. The first symptoms of pregnancy (morning sickness, fatigue, sore breasts) usually appear 2-4 weeks after conception. If you're that worried, go and get a morning after pill =]

A female reader, anonymous, writes (27 June 2010):

You're being overly paranoid. You're on THE PILL, you're period isn't due yet, he pulled out.

You shouldn't be feeling pregnancy symptoms for a while now, and you shouldn't have any chance of being pregnant.

Relax , you had sex a few hrs ago, it took me 3 mts of continuous sex To get pregnant but some ppl it only takes one time. It usually takes weeks for symptoms to show but wait for your period if its late or you dont have one take a pregnancy test a week or two after your period is due.
