How long after stopping the pill will my periods be back to normal?

I've been on the pill for about 2years now and have just come off it because i wanted to have a break and have my normal periods back for a few months but will my periods return a month after coming off the pill or will it take longer? THANKS!

Lotsalove. agony auntI came off the pill in early february and then started having my periods every 15-16 days for five months. It's only the past month that it's gone back to normal. But every woman differs, so you may bounce back to normal straight away...or it may take a few weeks/months.
