I'm on the pill and use condoms, but I heard today about someone who was on the pill and had periods as normal, but discovered at 4 months that she was pregnant. This as a result has me worried. How likely is it that I'm pregnant?

reader, anonymous, writes (12 May 2009): It is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. If you finish your period and still think you are pregnanty or experience possible signs of pregnancy, take a pregnany test and to be on the safe side, take one 48 hours later. If they both come back negative there is the smallest chance you could be pregnant. If, however, one or both of the tests come back positive, consult your doctor. He can advise you and the details will be safe, it is against the law for them to disclose your personal details to ANYONE without you permission.
Hope this helps and you problem is resolved quickly.
Tell me how you get on.
Good luck

Very VERY unlikely! But if you are still worried do a test. And if you are still paranoid maybe you should stop having sex as (allegedly) only one person has ever been born to a Virgin!

i agree with sammi star, you've got your period, so i dont see how you can be, but take a test just to make sure if you like :)

I think it's really unlikely you're pregnant seeing as you've been so careful and you just got your period. If you're really worried why not do a test just to put your mind at ease?
