 Take heart. He might not be "pretty" forever, but you will always be you. My husband isn't a pretty boy, and I still think that some guys look cute, but I would never cheat on him.
Tell her that you like her. If she starts acting quiet around you, or trying to avoid you, it's her loss!

I do believe in love at first meeting, but not love at first sight. You can tell a lot from the first time you meet someone but this is based on more than their looks.I once fancied a guy for 2 years but was too shy to talk to him and when i did realised he was incredibly boring and lost interest fast! My point is that looks only get you so far and if you are friends with this girl i would say you have an advantage as she knows you and still enjoys being around you! Think carefully before making any decisions though, has she ever shown signs of liking you more than a friend? Its better to have her as a friend than not in your life at all.
