How far is too far, too soon?

A female Ireland age 41-50, *ancakes rule writes:

I was just wondering what people's opinions on this were.

If you really like a guy and want to do everything on the first date, or at a party, or something, would you?

I know in my head that for a guy to respect you and see you as more than just sex you have to set boundaries and respect yourself and all, but in my heart, when I really like the guy, I just don't want to stop.

It's not like I don't have boundaries, I rarely even kiss someone unless I've fancied them for a bit, but at the same time I'm worried that I might give the wrong impression.

So, how far is acceptable?

A male reader, soon567 United States +, writes (1 January 2011):

Sex always confuses the situation, going part of the way would label you as a tease. Go all the way with a guy then you know what he'll think of you. Once you start servicing a guy and stop, he'll become angry and putting pressure on you to continue the act. If you go more then kissing then you're just an easy lay.
