I'm thinking of getting webcams to keep in touch, and also, ahem, for sexual purposes ...So my question is, how do webcams work? We both have skype, so would probably use them over that, but will our webcam conversations be private, or will any of our other skype contacts be able to see what's going on on our webcams if they're online? I ask because obviously I don't want to broadcast my sex life to my friends ...Thanks =)

You buy a webcam each. Plug it into yr respective PC's, install the software...and hey presto...electricty and internet connection and you can see each other!!
Best webcams to go for are the ones that track yr face/eyes (& built in mic helps too)..so if you/he moves...you dont het a blank screen.
Some have a "record" facitiy..so becareful you dont "appear" on Youtube...lol..and dont forget to LOCK YOUR DOOR!!

 No, it's totally private. No one can see what you guys are up to. How would they...? That wouldn't make a lot of sense for Skype to broadcast what goes on.
