rose petals accurancy is a little wrong i think its 98% and thats taken correctly. with all contraception their is no guarantee i found the rod/ implant is the most accurate 100%. with the pill their can be missed tablets and if you take other medication it can lower the effectiveness . so if you are going to have sex when you are fully grown and the age limit then be sure you protect yourself in every way which possible. good luck aphex

Then, the pill also thickens lining in the cervix making it harder for sperm to get to any egg anyway.
However, like aphex said....you shouldnt be thinking about this if its a real life situation as you're probably still too young. Its good to be knowledgable but there is no way to totally stop pregnancy and as a result, you shouldnt be having sex at your age. Not trying to be pedantic by the way :)

pill is a succesful contraception that stops you getting pregnant when having sex but it is not 100% guaranteed.. their are many methods but i would avoid not using condoms as they can protect you against sexually transmitted disease. go to your gp to find out all the information you need on this as they will help you find the best method for you. you are young so i would avoid having sex until your body has matured fully. hope this helps good luck xx
