Chemistry is felt by both parties. However, you are inexperienced with this. So what you think is chemistry might not actually be anything other than wishful thinking on your side. You need to be more experienced with chemistry before you are able to recognize it. But real chemistry.. yes, that is felt by both people. Real chemistry is actually clearly visible by spectators also, so people around you will be able to tell you have chemistry. That can be one of the clues for you to learn more about it. If no one else notices anything, then it probably is just in your head. But if people around you start to comment on it, then it is probably chemistry.

It is quite mysterious, but sometimes we meet the gaze of another person and our unconscious minds know that they hold the key to fix our childhood wounds. It's called projection. When the same thing happens to them, the feeling is quite intense and mostly from both sides.

If you're staring at someone; they will stare at you in return. They may only think you're weird or crazy.
The best way to determine if someone is interested in meeting you, is to talk to them, and introduce yourself.
Standing around staring at people is weird, awkward, and scary. If you're too shy to walk up to the girl and say something. Stop staring.
