Most active girls (riding, sports and the likes ) don't really have much of a hymen to "show" for in the first place. Just be glad you aren't in pain or bleeding during sex.
If you have had insertion you have "lost" your hymen most likely. I looked it up cause I wasn't sure myself and it said that it is not up the vagina at all. It is on the outside entrance, but is not always noticable, even in virgins.

Well if you have had sex then it is most likely that you will have broken your hymen. It is only a very thin piece of skin so it is easy to break, if you did gymnastics or horse riding as a child it is probable it broke then!Dont worry too much about it, with the skin being so thin a lot of girls dont even notice when it breaks. Some women experience bleeding the first time they have sex when the hymen breaks but other women dont even get a tiny spot of blood! Everyone is different and there is no real way of telling!
