writes: How do you stop feeling lonely, when you are constantly surrounded by the happiness of others?I have been single for almost 4yrs now and for the most part of that I have been extremely lonely.Everything I do in life is with couples, I sit there at work and daily listen to the other guys talk about their relationships, what they are doing on the weekend yadda yadda. My only avenue to go out is with my circle of friends, whom all are couples.I have joined a gym in the hope of forming new friendship, yet Im still alone there too. I tried Online dating, but the lies and rejections were killing me.Every time I try to force myself with postive thoughts, there I am again surrounded by happy in love people It is really starting to get me down and after almost 2yrs I cant see the light at the end of the tunnel.I try to occupy myself as much as possible, but the end result is still the same.... Im alone.

Don't give up! ;) I have personally been through hell and back with having two failed marriages... It took me forever to find the love of my life and I am now 40 y.o. It will probably happen when you least expect it. I met my boyfriend online. I tried years ago with the online dating thing and met all kinds ( being kind here... lol ;) I gave it up (with having no success) and decided to give it one last try. So glad that I did!! Instead of going out with your usual group of friends, try going by yourself to diferent places. Switch your routine up a notch. You never know what will happen :D Cheer up !!
