hey everyone!

i need some advice how to nicely get rid of someone.

i'm a very nice person and tend to please others more than myself.

he was just a friend i met at my university and i only see him as a FRIEND!......he's not the best looking guy but he's funny i guess.....anyways i decided to be nice n give him my msn address n we talked now again n so he was just a friend!!!

but all of a sudden, just recently he's been askin me out . i hav just gotten out of a bad relationship and last thing i want is to start dating and start the whole process of getting to know someone all over again.and plus, as mean as this sounds, i dn't want to be seen in public with him either.

also me and my other good friend are catchin up n i dn't wanna do anythin with anyone else bt with my good friend.

anyways i felt bad for him and decided to give him my number wen he gave me his. bad mistake......as soon as i did he starts callin my number over and over!! i don't answer wen he calls cuz i do not want to talk to him!! well on the phone that is!...he's gonna ask me out i know for sure but i dunno how to turn him down!!...i'm too nice!!

so basically how do u tells some1 ur nt interested so they'll understand?

A female reader, Elydiese United Kingdom +, writes (23 June 2010):

I have been in this exact situation its like deja vu, you have to tell him straight that you only see him as a friend i made the mistake of taking him up on his offer of a date and i knew as soon as i saw him it was never going to work we went on the date but the next day i told him i only saw him as a friend and it felt weird to think of us in any other way. Just tell him straight dont mess around or make excuses as then you know he'll get the message if he doesnt just delete his number and tell him not to call you and delete him off your msn
