ok listen if you want to have sex yes it does matter if ur on ur period but when your making out no all you have to do is make sure he doesn't have herppies and u will be fine and when you make out with him don't feel shy everyones first time isn't good but theres no way to explain it just don't think about it and it will just fall in to place

If you've not kissed a boy yet (we used to call it French Kissing when I was growing up) then you are NOT READY for sex, and questions about sex during periods are premature.

I kissed a boy "properly" for the first time when I was 13 and had regular boyfriends throughout my teens, but didn't have sex till I was nearly 18. I have plenty of time to consolidate my familiarity with the various more intimate steps along the way.

And I look back at that time and enjoyed it all and it built up my confidence very well. I would recommend you forget all about sex for quite a few years yet.

Its hard to teach someone how to make out, because every time its different!! but thats what keeps it good, really. Every person kisses in a different way and everyone likes different things, so its really hard to tell you any specifics. Basically, be relaxed and feel really comfortable with each other, and kiss because you want to, because it feels right, not because you think you should be doing it!!

But (these are just my opinions, how I like things...) start gently, and lips only, the you can test it out, by running your tongue around his lip, etc and see if he opens his mouth. IF he does, then hes up for more tongu action, if not, wait a while! Try not to be too toothy or slobber everywhere in an attepts to be sexy, just relax and if you are feeling the feelings, then your emotions will teach you!!

As for sex on your period, its a really personal thing. Yes you can have sex on your period, theres nothing wrong with it, but DO use protection as some women, (including my grandmother) ovulate during menstruation which means that it is possible to get pregnant. Plus when you are on your period, some people say taht there is a higher risk of passing STDs because of the blood, and less barrier between you and his semen.

At the same time, I dont like to have sex when im on my period, because its messy and you get blood everywhere, like on the sheets and on his penis! this freaks some guys out and others dont mind at all.

So as for sex on your period, if you and your bf are happy with it, go for it, providing you are on the pill (after boing tested for STDs) and/or using condoms.

Hope this helps hun!!
