How do you know when an ex really Wants to be friends? We have been talking regularly and she always says yes to hanging out. She mentioned in the past It was her intention, and now a week later says right now were just friends. I did tell her I still hadfeelings for her and asked if in the future we could be more. Before she told me she had been thinking about reconciling I told her to stop stringing me along, which hurt her pretty badly, I think that's why she said just friends, but is that what she really wants?

petina1 agony auntSounds like she is spelling it out about just been friends other wise she would not have said that. She likes to hang out with you. Maybe she will want more as you go along but you will have to wait and see. Some guys just don't know how to be friends when they have strong feelings and they push for more which in the end just ends up pushing the girl away.
