The whole idea of virginity is kind of changing now.
The hymen used to be the big thing, but that was back when girls sat around embroidering dresses all day. Now we use tampons and dance and run and ride bikes and everything else, the hymen has usually been badly damaged or destroyed by the time you hit your teens.
Now I take the definition of virginity as "not having had sex".
If you haven't had a penis or large penis shaped object in you then you are a virgin.
Good Luck!! xx

Oh hun! I used to wonder the same thing! After wearing tampons you probably don't have the so called cherry anymore. I don't know any people that had problems with it. So if you do have sex don't worry about getting blood on the sheets. Unless of course you put something too big in there and suffer little tears from it! Even then you shouldn't have much blood at all! Good luck!

Do you see a little flap of skin when you open up? If not, your "cherry" has probably been popped from playing sports, riding a bike, fingering, using tampons, or any number of things. Heck, it may have never been there to begin with.
