How do you help your man through a rough patch (financial, career issues) that has been going on for months now when you yourself are weighed down by your own problems, responsibilities and very tight income? I love him so much but pep talk and believing in a better tomorrow can only go so far, yet they're all i have to offer now. We don't live together, 2hrs drive apart actually. He is so stressed and down he is starting to develop health problems. I just don't know what to do Reply to this Question Share |

Been there. Actually, I'm there right now. These situations are so tough and can be so stressful. Really, the only think you can do is to support him relentlessly, keep loving him and reassuring him that you love him and that things will get better. He won't believe you, probably, but the truth is - you being there for him HELPS. It really does.
If you can convince him to get some counseling, that will definitely help. But if he refuses, just keep kissing him, hugging him, loving him. It is all you have to give, so give it all you have.
I've been there and it's horrible. Things seem dark, but they'll get lighter.
Good luck!
