I think it is about time since I have been through 4 years of University, and still have not seemed to figure it out.How do you get past 'just friends' into a relationship? How do you meet a girl and signal that you are interested in her for more than just friends, without coming across as just wanting a quick lay?Basically I want to know how to get a girlfriend.p />Thanks.

I guess it depends on how fussy you are about the order in which the events leading up to the relationship take place.
If you convince a girl that you are after a 'quick lay', then have sex with her, then end up in a relationship with her, is that necessarily a bad thing?
Otherwise, maybe take the cowardly approach and send her a text message or email telling her that you like her more than friends.
I mean 'cowardly' in the nicest possible sense. I'm a bit of a coward when it comes to this type of thing, and I think most guys are.
I find that it's frighteningly easy to get a girl into bed if I'm not too bothered either way, but if I really like someone, I tend to become rather shy.
