person12345 agony auntThere's no way to break up without hurting someone. Just say it as nicely as you can, either over Skype or phone (NEVER over email or text). Just tell him you care a lot about him, but the distance just isn't working out for you. And I agree with Bondgirl, don't contact him afterwards. Let him heal.

BondGirl72 agony auntIf he really likes you, there is no way to do it without hurting him. Just be honest but kind. Then, do not have contact with him afterward. If you do, you'll just confuse him.
