writes:I'm 23, my girlfriend's 25 and from Germany originally, and we've been together for 2 years since we met at university together. We live together, and are doing well in our respective employment.Our relationship is great, however, it's outside of the relationship that causes worry.Every day I get racist insults hurled at me because of her because of where she's from. We've tried not to let it get to us, but we've had to get the police involved.The kids doing it to us are aged 10-15 years old, and seem to have utter contempt for the law.If we could move house, we would, but we can't afford to, and it's generally a nice area, apart from the odd few who spoil it for us.However, wherever we go, we always get racial insults hurled at us - which is strange, considering we're not a mixed-race couple or anything like that?How do we deal with this?

 Report every incident to the police. You don't have to call out the police for all incidents just ask for a log number and take a diary of all yourself. Also report it to the local council or housing association. They should give assistance. When you have enough evidence you and the local housing can take it to court to get an injunction order. Stay calm and ignore the insults and let the evidence do the work.
note, if you fight or argue directly back at them they will think they are winning and that will just exacerbate the situation. If it is tit for tat it wont stand up in court but if it is all coming from the other side it will be harassment in the eyes of the law.
I think this is a pretty good way to deal with it but of course work with the Police and council asking advice all the way about antisocial behavior. Some times the council will offer a mediation service that can be very effective.

Do you have a small recorder? I wonder if you can record it when they are throwing insults at you and your g/f on your small recorder. Do it several times. Then, when you have to involve the police again, you can let them have a copy of your recording, You can also go directly to the parents so they can hear the recording of their insulting you. Not with the intention of "revenge", but with the intention of asking why they "hate" Germany. If you have any literature that shows Germany at its best, or its "colorful" history, leave them with the mother. And history also shows that the British had a part of in Germany's history too.
Ignorant people/children sometimes can still be "educated". But if that failed, ignroing them is the best approach. Hopefully, they will soon get tired of it. Or grow out of it.

 Punch the little scrote in the FACE!(well best not, but I hate narrow minded idiots) There is no way of dealing with racism at this level, except to ignore them, or take direct action (although this is the best idea, it could lead to your arrest and imprisonment)
Have you spoken to the police about this? Here in the UK the kids would get a caution if nothing else for this.
