writes:I know i'm going by television here, but i'm sure this is a reality for some people. But i've always wondered how is it that people in Los Angeles for example, live in these massive houses and always have these parties with so many people!! But the part i'm getting at is they always are in their 20's, how is it that people that young have managed to get so rich and how do they know that many people to have parties like that?I have noticed it is people who work in the industry, so is that why? Why is the industry such a good networking place to work in and become rich from... i just can't understand how they always are so young! A guy I dated was exactly the same as how i'm talking about, he was so successful and worked worked in the music industry filming and editing videos and he was only 25!!  There are people who do things like, invent facebook, and then there are people who have rich parents. BIG difference between the two. I've met both types. Most self-made successful people don't become successful until their 40's or 50's.

 Rich parents. That's the only way, unless you're ridiculously lucky. But everyone I know who are wealthy at a young age actually don't have any money of their own, it's all thanks to their parents.

 Are you absolutely sure your friend was footing the bill? A lot of old people (and wealthy) like to live vicariously through young people and will pay for it.
