 Let her know that you like her very much and you always want her as your friend but tell her when you go to her house you feel depressed and sad for HER! Let her know her house is untidy (don't mention the odour, that would offend her.) Why don't you suggest going round there one day and maybe helping her tidy up a bit! See what she says.

 i think that you shouldnt say anything to your friend as she might take it the wrong way. so instead of going to her house maybe she could go to yours or you could go out somewhere remember dont loose a friend just because of her family she cant help it if her mum is on drugs and the house is messy....its upto her mum to look after her not the other way round and she might feel as though having you there is some company for her.Hope that helped slightly.
