He has a really great personality and I like him a lot but to be honest, he's not the type of person I could see myself with in the long term. We have very few common interests, he's also a good bit older than me (I'm 17, he's 24) so I feel like we're at completely different stages in life. However, I was perfectly happy to continue this relationship up until the other night. I got talking to a really nice guy and we had so much in common, it was also very obvious that he was interested in me but I had to tell him I was already with someone. I think since that I've started to think that maybe I could be happier with someone who was better suited to me.I guess my question is, how do I tell my current guy that I want to finish it? I've never had to break up with anyone before, and it's going to be a big shock for him because I've changed my mind about things pretty suddenly. I know this makes me sound horrible but I do actually care about him and the last thing I want to do is to hurt him. Oh, and it's Valentine's Day soon too. :( Reply to this Question Share |
