writes: For New Years Eve I am hanging out with a group of my girl friends, my neighbor, and a bunch of his friends. Secretly, i have had a crush on my neighbor for the past 4 years. It's not a steady crush because I have had boyfriends in between, but i always end up liking him after getting out of a relationship. For new years I want to steal a kiss from him, but I don't know how to approach it. I want him to be able to make the move. It seems like most guys are intimidated by me or afraid to make the move on me. When I'm at parties, me and my sister seem to gather most of the attention, without meaning to. I have always had a feeling that my neighbor has had feelings towards me, yet, it is very hard to read him in that way, because he is flirtatious towards numberous girls. I have been friends with him for quite the while now. There has always been a part of me that wanted to makeout with him but i feel as if that may ruin our friendship. He is like an older brother to me and gets jealous towards all my other guy friends. A few months ago in a random conversation, he told my friend he would make out with me, yet he hasn't made the move yet. How can I attract him towards me if there is going to be other girls there, and what can i do to get him to kiss me!? I know this may seem like an immature subject but I feel like i need the opinions of others to make this possible.

I ended up not hanging out with him for New Years.. but I know i will be hanging out with him soonn. Were you drunk or sober when you leaned in to kiss him??? lol im just curious.

He liked me...a lot. i had just dated his best friend. he wanted a kiss and knew that i loved kissing so i was into that kinda thing. then one day i leaned in and kissed him just one little kis. we looked at each other..smiled..then started making out. .about 2 weeks later we were boyfriend and girlfriend and i couldnt be happier since. this may sound stupid but when i read your storie i really had a gut feeling that this was gonna work out just as good as me and my boyfriend did. i think you shud flirt with him all night..nd then kiss him. not "wen the ball drops" cuz thts kinda cheezy but before that flirt with him a lot then go in for it. you know he wants it but hes too shy. that was the same thing with mike my bf. with time it will turn into something you love. i feel it =] good luck girlie
